INFORMATION FOR MURAL ARTISTSProspective artists should be established as mural artists and have a professional portfolio to show the Society. The mural painting is to be realistic and historically correct. Initially, the murals will feature people, horses, old cars, buildings, period costumes, cattle, etc. In the future there will be a need for landscape, bird and animal painters. The Mural Society will help with reference material but it will be the responsibility of the artists to insure the work is historically and regionally correct. A color sketch should be submitted with your proposal. A full color rendering (suitable for framing) is to be provided by the selected artist. The rendering (which will become the property of the Brooksville Mural Society) will be presented to the City Council for Change of Sign Ordinance approval.
